About Teknofest 2022

TEKNOFEST, the largest aviation, space and technology festival in the world, is organized with the support of Turkey's leading technology companies, public, media organizations and universities in Turkey. TEKNOFEST aims to create awareness in the society for technology and science and to increase the human resources grown in science and engineering fields of Turkey, TEKNOFEST is home to various events, especially in competitions organized in many areas of technology from rockets to support the work of young people’s future technologies. TEKNOFEST 2022 excitement started to live with applications opened for “Technology Competitions” which will be held under the festival. Thousands of young people from every part of the society are waiting for curiosity and followed by interest in TEKNOFEST Technology competitions last year, 44.912 teams from 81 provinces and 111 countries, 200 thousand young applications, among the applications 13.000 finalists had the chance to fight young people in competitions determined. This year, TEKNOFEST Technology competitions are still able to participate in technology competitions organized in different categories to perform qualified thousands of youngsters from primary school level to secondary school, high school, university, postgraduate and graduate levels. TEKNOFEST Technology Contests, which are the biggest award-winning technology contests of Turkey, which are opened by more contest categories than a previous year, will be held in 39 different categories this year, the last date determined for the competition is 28 February 2022. TEKNOFEST will be held for the first time this year in the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition, Obstacle-Free Life Technologies Competition, High School Students Climate Change Research Competition and Hyperloop Development Competition. By aiming to increase the interests of young people’s national technology production and development, the equipment support will be provided to the teams passing the stage of preliminary screening to support thousands of genecin projects working in these areas. At TEKNOFEST, the winning teams deserve to enter the race and degree will be awarded over 6 Million TL. Teknofest, which was held in another city of Anatolia for a year, moved to Samsun in the fifth year. Aviation, Space and Space which will take place in Samsun between 30 August - 4 September
