Ardahan Bicycle Festival Start Ardahan University Presented from our Campus

Ardahan’s “Ardahan Bicycle Festival”, which was held for the first time in order to promote tourism potential, nature and cultural heritage of Ardahan, started with the broad participation of sports lovers from around Turkey. Ardahan Governorate is hosted Ardahan University, Youth Sport Provincial Directorate, Culture and Tourism Provincial Directorate, Agriculture Provincial Directorate, Provincial Directorate of Safety, Provincial Jandarma Command and other stakeholders in the organized festival to contribute to the eco-tourism possibilities of the region. With Ardahan Esnaf and Artisticians, Mr. Kirvekil, who participated in the opening of the festival, where representatives of various institutions and organizations, shared the excitement of the festival of the participants. After the registration processes completed on 10 July Friday, our university welcomed the participants from Turkey’s 70 provinces and Belgium in our campus. As the next stage of the planned program, the bikes moving together with the resmî start given at the main entrance of the Newsey Campus on 11 July Saturday, took the first trout of 24 kilometers from Hanak to our campus. The participants who will reach the Hanak Festival Area by completing this park, which constitutes the first stage of the Field program, which will be reached by completing the cultural events and catering programs here, after 16 kilometers in the Damal Festival, will be driving again. In the route, which constitutes the next phase of the festival, the Damal Festival Area and the last bulan ride in the Atatürk War will be followed by the public games shows and the geographical silhouette with the symbol of the region will be observed in place. The program of the day will be completed with the concert and entertainment flow to be held in the evening. Ardahan Bicycle Festival, which will last for 3 days from 10-12 July, brings together sports, culture and nature, will end with the resmî vein and closing program, which will be held on 12 July Sunday. “Sports Friendly Campus” document is home to such a meaningful organization that supports sports, as an important part of our corporate vision.
