Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu Baku Türkology Board 100. Invitation to the Year Symposium

Prof. Prof. Dr. Özoğlu, I. With the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Society Assembly, the Turkish World Week was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan between June 29 – 3 July 2026. This comprehensive organization, which was born with the decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, presented an international academic platform to protect, promote and plan the future century of Turkish people. Scientific Heritage Additive and International Appreciation: Our Rector at the international conference held after the opening of the resmî held at the Turkish Society Award Heydar Aliyev Center Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu was presented “International Turkish Society Award” for the contributions to Turkish culture and language. The award was awarded by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan by Ozodbek Nazarbekov. This prestigious award was recorded as an important milestone in terms of the academic accumulation of our Rector as well as the internationalization vision of our university. Another important stop of our Rector was the scientific presentation of the scientific presentation titled "A century Development of Turkology" in the context of the committee, sharing a century-old development process with participants. Academic Diplomacy and Corporate Business Association Interviews During the visit, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ozturk Emiroğlu visited Baku Eurasia University and interviews on joint scientific projects with a student and academic exchange between two institutions. Strategic titles were discussed for the development of education, scientific research and international business union in interviews. In the scope of the contacts, also Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ferid Caferov and Karabakh University Prof. Home Şahin Bayramov joined together and determined the corporate framework of common scientific studies to be implemented in the future. Reflections in the media: As a Science Department of Martyrs Veren, Turkishology and “Hun Eagle” were included in the media activities for informing the international public as well as the upper-level negotiations performed under Baku contacts.
