Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu attended the Book Introduction of Mihrali Bey, the Caucasus Hero in the Scope of Baku Contacts

Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu attended the book promotion event held at Baku Atatürk Center in Baku under the official contact of Baku. Our Rector, which performs a speech in the event, expressed the struggles of the heroes inhabited by the Caucasus geography. Merhum writer Valeh Hajiler's "Borçalı Mehralı Bəy (responsibly)" written in Azerbaijani Turkish, our Rector emphasized that such publications are an indispensable source of Turkish history and cultural memory. In the program, the Debt Mihrali Bey, particularly in the 1877-1878 Turkish-Russian War (93 Harbi) unique protagonisms and military genius were taken to the forefront. Sultan II. Mihrali Bey’s life and history facts, which was appointed as the command of Hamidiye Alays by Abdulhamid Han, was presented to the taste of historical enthusiasts as a headpiece that lighted the military and political history of the region.
