The second of the PhD Research and Planning Workshop, hosted by Galatasaray University Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty in Istanbul on 24-25 January 2025, was hosted by Ardahan University Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty. The workshop aiming to contribute to more systematic and planned execution of the academic research processes of PhD students continued for two days in the hybrid format, where facial and online sessions are included. Workshop; Prof. Dr. Can Şımga Muğan, Prof. Dr. Serdar Özkan, Prof. Dr. M. Banu Durukan Tuesday, Assoc. Dr. Melik Ertuğrul Dr. Zafer Aykanat, Prof. Dr. Ali Kemal Çelik, Assoc. Dr. Tayfun Star and Assoc. Dr. Şafak Altay contributed to academic knowledge and experience.
In two-day programs; research question and determination of the topic, literature screening, hypothesis development, research design and methods, data sources, quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques were discussed issues such as the configuration of the basic parts of a scientific study with the use of productive artificial intelligence in academic studies. In addition to the theoretical sessions, the participants who are involved in practice studies have provided discussions of their research questions, assessments and methodical preferences in literature. Academic articles given to each group in applications carried out in two groups of work; research question, research design, methods, findings, conclusions and recommendations were evaluated mutually among participants.
The program aims to develop the research ideas of participants, to see the relationship between different stages of scientific studies and to receive academic feedback. After the presentation of two-day workshops, participation and thankful documents, the last ends with the collective photo shoot.
