Ardahan University was organized by the Application and Research Center for Women and Family Studies, the fifth of the workshop series was held in Yenisey Guest House on October 24, 2026. Since its beginning, the workshop series, which started to combine crafts and decorative design applications, the participants’ intensive interest and the way to traditionalize with positive feedback; the recycling strengthened the awareness of zero waste and sustainable production.
Within the scope of workshop work, women were aimed at bringing creative potentials of women and children with social, psychological and economically strengthening. It is aimed to contribute to the social development of Ardahan by strengthening equal participation and local solidarity of the culture of producing together.
Different decoration techniques were used for light mirror and lampshade construction in practical work maintained under the Trainer Müjgan Cengiz guide. Participants have created their own works by taking active role in the production process from material selection and design stages to complete products. The workshop, where traditional handcraft meets contemporary decorative approaches, also supported the culture of sharing experience while enriching artistic expression possibilities. The program was completed with the review of the original studies that arises and the mass photo shoot.
