“Turkish Traditional Heads and Hearts” Conference Held in Our University
The conference was held in cooperation with SKS Turkish World and Akraba Communities Club (TUDAT) with the Department of Contemporary Turkish Polishes and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Literature. The cultural and symbolic meaning of the title tradition in the Turkish world was discussed with academic perspective. The first speaker of the conference Dr. Home Member Ezgioya Malkoç expressed that the title in Turkish culture is not only a clothing element; it is an important symbol that reflects the social status, identity and cultural belonging. Malkoç has evaluated the tradition of heading through examples from Turkish world. Second speaker of the conference Prof. Dr. Mayrambek Orozobayev evaluated on Ak Heartak, one of the important icons of Kırgiz culture. Orozobayev noted that the heart was considered as a symbol of honor, dignity and dignity in the society of Kırgiz, he paid attention to the cultural and historical dimensions of this tradition. The program ended with the attention of the importance of being addressed with an academic perspective of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish world.
