Climate Oriented Business Association Protocol Signed Between Ardahan Municipality with Our University

Among our university and Ardahan Municipality, the strategic collaboration protocol was signed in line with global climate change and sustainable development targets. In the signing ceremony held in the Rectorial authority, Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu and Ardahan Mayor Demir Faruk joined together and signed a joint working protocol. This protocol aims to implement scientific and application-based projects in the framework of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP). Within the scope of cooperation, the reduction of carbon footprint in the region and the construction of a city structure resistant to the effects of climate change is determined as the main goal. With this protocol, Ardahan’s contribution to the sustainable future by combining academic accumulation of our university with local management strategies.
