Prof. Dr. Ozturk Emiroğlu was the vibrant publication of TRT Erzurum Radiosu on the occasion of the scientific activities carried out in the framework of “Buğdayin Atası Ardahan Kavılcasi Events 2” under the World Earth Day. In the publication, the current issues regarding the sustainable use of the soil, scientific studies conducted on the wheat of Kavılca, and extensive assessments about the agricultural production capacity of the region. Our vector expressed that the conscious and sustainable use of the soil, a limited natural source, taking into account the decisive role of the soil in the ecosystem and life cycle in the conversation. In our cultural memory, it was noted that the actual value of the soil is late to find a large location: “Earth; plant development is an indispensable element for biological diversity and continuity of life. Therefore, we need to approach our ground, water and all our natural assets with scientific sensitivity. Our Rector expresses that fertilizers and chemicals used in agricultural activities should be applied in controlled and measured, and the foundation of sustainable agriculture is based on non-explosive management of the soil. In the publication held in TRT Erzurum Radiosu, concrete data was also shared by Ardahan University.
