Our university continues its support to contribute to the development of regional development and livestock. In this context, the scope of the Social and Environmental Investment Programs of the TANAP, the Eskikılıç, Gemidere and Türkgözüs Joint Animal Health Project, carried out under the “Supporting the Directly Affected Settlement Units”. Ardahan Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Ardahan University of Kolındırma Foundation, the project is carried out in coordination with the University Project Development and Coordination Office. The project also covers the sustainable and efficient animal development goal of the Institute of Agriculture and Livestock, which is established in our University. In this context, the project team took the first field visit at Damal’s Twindere Village. In addition to the program, veterinarian Göksan Akkuş, as an external shareholder, participated in technical presentation on the use of machinery and equipment. Within the scope of the visit, information activities for the village people were realized, applications for increasing productivity in livestock were introduced and animal health screenings were made. The project aims to strengthen the sustainability of livestock activities in the region and contribute to rural development.
