Comprehensive Treatment Trip from Students of Laborant and Veterinary Health Program
Our University was held a technical trip to Kafkas Arı Production, Training and Gen Center, Kafkas Bee Cons and Beekeeping Museum within the scope of the Second-class students, Zootekni and Entrepreneurship courses. Students in the realized event found the opportunity to get comprehensive information about biological foundations, production processes and economic potential of the beekeeping. Students in the first part of the event, Laborant and Veterinary Health Department teaching element Kisses. See. Under the course of Zootekni, conducted by Dr. Yasin Sarıkaya, Prof. Prof. of the faculty of Ege University. Dr. Banu Yücel attended the education titled “Archive and Bee Products” given by Dr. Banu Yücel. In addition to the education, Kafkas beesus producers in Ardahan shared their experiences in the field. When receiving up-to-date information on the solution of bee health, efficiency, climate conditions in the region, students also found the opportunity to learn local production processes directly from producers. Following the education, students received information from specialists about the genetic properties, morphological structure and production techniques of Kafkas Beesini by visiting the central analysis and morphology laboratories. In the examinations conducted in laboratories, the protection of bee breeds was shared with practical information on yield analysis and quality standards. In the second part of the event, the management and organization department teaching element is killed. See. Within the scope of the Entrepreneurship course carried out by the Bush recently, the characteristics of the Caucasian Bee is informed about significant honey plants, ecological diversity and local flora for bees in the region. In this frame, the bee products were highlighted not only a production activity, but also a high entrepreneurship area of value added. Students followed in the production center, advanced conversion honeycomb production, propolis and pollen collection devices. In addition, technologies used in the production line were introduced with devices for processing bee products. The event found that students did the taste of natural Caucasian honey produced in the center. Thus, students found the opportunity to directly experience the process from production to consumption. With the realized technical trip, students have developed a holistic perspective between zootekni science, sustainable production, local development and entrepreneurship.
