Zorlu Nature, Strong Youth: Ardahan University at Süphan Mountain Summit

Ardahan University Mountaineering and Natural Sports Club, ÜNIDES 4. It signed an important nature event within the scope of the Period Project. “Zorlu Nature, Strong Youth: Survival, Team, Learn!” The project started with the motto, has presented a unique experience that strengthens the physical and mental endurance of students, strengthens team spirit. Project, club consultant Kiss. See. Dr. Arif Metehan Yıldız was held in his guide to the project vice president of Kadir Islam Demir. Field applications and technical support under the event, HAN1915 Kills from the President of the Mountain Search Recovery Association and Ardahan University teaching elements. See. The coordination of Dr. Musab Süleyman Köçer was provided. Ardahan Youth and Sport Provincial Directorate also participated in its contribution, the young people aim to develop leadership, teamwork and survival skills in nature. The most remarkable stage of the event was the successful peak climbing in Süphan Mountain, one of the highest peaks of Turkey. The participants forced both individual limits in this challenging park, completed between 06.00–21.00 and consolidated collective mobility. This meaningful event has offered university students only beyond climbing a mountain; in-house, disciplined, solidarity-oriented and responsibility-based living experience with nature. The project was evaluated as a strong example of Ardahan University’s student-based event understanding meets with the practical educational vision that is integrated with nature.
