Edebiyat scientist, academician, translator and writer Prof. Dr. Öztürk EMİROĞLU came to Ardahan’s Posof district. Primary school studied at Posof, secondary school in Tekirdağ, at Ardahan. Atatürk University in 1989 graduated from Turkish Language and Literature Department. Adana and Kayseri made three years of teacher (1990-1993). In 1992, the University of Erciyes graduated from the Institute of Social Sciences; in 1998, Ankara University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of New Turkish Literature. Abant Izzet Baysal University, between 1993-2000, worked as a lecturer in Turkish Language Department. As of October 1997, Warsaw University, Faculty of Eastern Languages, Turkishology and Middle Asian People, he worked as a faculty member for many years.
